This song is about using adversity as a tool to move forward. In this case I'm using breaking bones as a symbol for adversity and snakes as a symbol of reinvigorated pride.

It's a bit biblical. I always look to the story of Genesis and how the snake was only trying to help the humans have pride and be individuals. Maybe Satan was the good guy...
